SHIPPING POLICY
1. GENERAL
All orders are subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfil all your items at time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfil the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the backordered item or if you would prefer for us to process a refund.
2. MANUFACTURING TIME
The majority of items sold by Jared Designs are made to order. Please allow 7-10 working days from payment of order to actual dispatch date. If an order is ready made in stock, then dispatch will be within 2-3 working days.
Please contact Jared Designs if you require a faster production time and we will be able to advise if this is possible.
3. SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase.
Jared Designs does not accept multiple delivery addresses for the same order.
Items of under £10 in value will be shipped via the standard Royal Mail service. For items of value £10 and above, shipping will be via the Signed For or Tracked/Signed service depending on the destination country.
4. DELIVERY TERMS
Impact of Coronavirus on deliveries
Whilst we continue to operate and dispatch orders, due to the Covid19 virus, some delays in delivery may occur. This is often due to staff shortages and therefore may differ locally. For that reason we cannot be specific about where any delays may occur, but Royal Mail do continue to make deliveries as normal where possible.
Delivery carriers, including Royal Mail, have now implemented social distancing policies. This means that during your delivery you will no longer be asked to sign an electronic device on delivery and their staff will not physically hand the parcel to you.
4.1 Transit Times
Shipping is via Royal Mail and for outside the UK, the use of additional delivery companies selected by Royal Mail to complete the process. Shipping transit times are to be calculated once the order has been dispatched and NOT when the order was placed.
Transit Times:
For UK deliveries 2-7 days
For International deliveries 5-22 days
4.2 Change of Delivery Address
For change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.
4.3 P.O. Box Shipping
Jared Designs will NOT ship to P.O. box addresses.
4.4 Items Out Of Stock
If an item is out of stock, we will wait for the item to be available before dispatching your order. Existing items in the order will be reserved while we await this item.
4.5 Delivery Time Exceeded
If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation.
4.6 Tracking Notifications
Upon dispatch, customers who have placed an order and purchased Signed For or Tracked shipping will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.
4.7 Parcels Damaged In Transit
If you find a parcel is damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier and notify Jared Designs via email. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact Jared Designs for instruction of next steps.
5. DUTIES AND TAXES
5.1 Sales Tax
Sales tax has not been applied to the price of the goods displayed on the website
5.2 Import Duties & Taxes
Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid upon arrival in destination country. This varies by country, and Jared Designs encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.
If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to Jared Designs at the customer’s expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid, minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.
6. CANCELLATIONS
If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time BEFORE the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our Return and Refund Policy.
PLEASE NOTE - Personalised orders cannot be cancelled if the manufacturing process has started. If the manufacturing process has not started but expenses relating to the personalised order have been incurred (e.g., the purchase of fabric), the customer may cancel the order but will be liable for these expenses.
7. INSURANCE
Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by Royal Mail.
7.1 Process for parcel damaged in-transit
We will process a refund or replacement as soon as Royal Mail has completed its investigation into the claim.
7.2 Process for parcel lost in-transit
We will process a refund or replacement as soon as Royal Mail has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.
