I use Bondaweb in all of my applique work and it's so simple to use. Draw your design onto the paper side and cut out roughly. Iron your bondaweb to the reverse of your fabric (take note whether you need to reverse your image or not, wording especially!), peel away the paper and iron your 'glued' fabric onto the 'receiving' fabric. For extra securing and for decorative effect, I always top stitch around the edging.
Full instructions come with each order and the Bondaweb is cut from the roll and packaged flat in an envelope.
